Assessment methods
The exam at the end of the course expected the achievement of the educational objectives of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills and the test expected a mark out of thirty.
The grade is graduated from 18/30 to 30/30. The minimum grade is achieved by a non-in-depth knowledge of the subject, it is between 19 and 25 for a fair knowledge, between 26 and 29 for a good knowledge, while 30 represents an excellent knowledge and honors are added in case of excellent knowledge.
The first part includes a 2-hour PC practical test carrying out, on the basis of the formulation of a question given by the teacher, a research path of an article on the main databases learned during the practical lessons and assessing the methodological quality.
The second part consists of an oral test, concerning the selected article, referring to the theoretical lessons of the research methodology.
