Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will have the basic elements for understanding the organization and networking of social and health local services as well as the operation logic in relation to the aims in the provision of services to people
Course contents
In the first part of the course the history of social intervention in Italy will be introduced to contestualize the Service Organization by providing a description of the he current organizational structure of social services in various areas of intervention.
After presenting the various welfare state models, the recent institutional and organizational transformations and cultural changes that have affected the Italian welfare system will be commented on, such as the reforms relating to measures to combat poverty, the essential levels of assistance, the role of institutions. third sector, accreditation and co-planning, community welfare, planning and integration of social, health and educational services, the actors of social and health integration and professional integration.
In the second part specific aspects of the Territorial Social Service will be dealt with: ways of managing and producing services. The main elements that characterize the territorial organization of the network of health and social services will be illustrated, with specific reference to the regional context of Emilia-Romagna
Specific aspects of the Territorial Social Service in the area of minors, the elderly, marginality, planning and socio-health integration will thus be addressed.
