Learning outcomes
This module teaches students how to manage a project, defining the resources to be allocated, scheduling time and deadlines, and selecting appropriate tools and information sources.
Course contents
This course supports the development of a structured dissertation project, providing guidance on how to identify a suitable project, plan its development and work with the supervisor. Students will benefit from having the opportunity to plan and manage their individual piece of research on a topic of their interest. This course offers the skillset to successfully navigate the complexity of a dissertation project, combining literature review, data collection and analysis and the ability to propose solid arguments and communicate with a wide audience. This course will also enhance the employability skills related to planning a structured project, managing expectations and deadlines and dealing with feedback.

This course is offered as a set of online thematic lectures combined with discussions of cases and group activities.

The final assessment is based on the submission of a structured dissertation plan.
