Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student knows the fundamental concepts of the business strategy, as well as the determinants of the business development.
Course contents
Module 1 (Colucci)
- The concept of strategy and the basic framework for the strategic analysis
- The business definition
- Analysis of the company’s external factors: the competitive environment
- Analysis of the company’s internal factors: the company's resources and competences
Module 2 (Angelaccio)
- Seminar on sports sponsorships

- Lectures on the topics of the program.
- Discussion of case studies to apply the concepts provided in the lectures.
Assessment methods
There are no differences between attending and not attending students. The same examination methods apply to Erasmus students.
The exam includes: a compulsory written test, which assigns a maximum score of 30 points + laude, composed of "multiple choice" questions. Refer to Professor Cappiello's web page for details on the exam.
Mark scale:
<18 Fail.
18-23 Pass.
24-27 Good.
28-30 Distinction.
