Learning outcomes
The course focuses on fundamental principles of civil procedure.
Course contents
The course examines:
constitutional principles in matter of justice
general principles of civil procedure
ordinary proceeding (first instance and ways of remedy)
forced execution
special proceedings
european regulations in matter of civil procedure

On the more, the student has to choose one of the following alternatives for the special part:
Biavati-Lupoi, a cura di, Regole europee e giustizia civile, Bononia University Press, 2022 (of all the regulations herein commented, the student has to prepare reg. n. 1215 and other three by on own choice);
or
Zucconi Galli Fonseca, Diritto dell'arbitrato, Bononia University Press, 2021 ((four chapters chosen by the student)
Teaching methods
Participation to lessons is not mandatory, nevertheless it is recommended to better understand the matter and the main topics.
Assessment methods
The first part of the exam, that is oral, takes place in front of a commission of assistants, who will ask at least two questions regarding different parts of the program.
Then, the student will conclude the exam with the professor, that may ask other questions.
The final quotation depends on many factors, such as having completed the whole program, being able to discuss of questions in matter of procedure showing competence and ability in tecnichal reasoning, appropriate language.

It is recommended to follow the course and Arbitration Law as well as European Union Procedure.
