Learning outcomes
After completing this module the student will have basic knowledge of the physical principles and technologies used in sensors and in particular the sensors used in the prosthetic including processing and filtering of sensor data. The student will have knowledge of the actuators and transducers present in prosthetic systems and the basics of telecommunications in order to understand how to connect between PC and Prosthetics.

Teaching methods
Lectures, laboratory exercise. Depending on availability can be included visits to institutions / companies.
“In consideration of the type of activity and the teaching methods adopted, the attendance of this training activity requires the prior participation of all students in the training modules 1 and 2 on safety in the study places, in e-learning mode.
Assessment methods
written thesis or project with discussion
Teaching tools
During the course you will make use of prosthetic devices and commercial prototypes. For the assistive technology we will use the devices present in INAIL
