The course aims to provide participants with the conceptual frameworkd needed to manage the firm at the functional, business and corporate level.

    Teaching methods

    The course make use of three main teaching methods: 1) frontal lessons based on books, cases and articles from economic newspapers; 2) team work where students can learn how to apply different frameworks of analysis on an empirical case and present the results; 3) consultants and managers presentations


    Assessment methods

  • Students not attending classes or attending class who do not participate to group work
    Course assessment consists in a written examination with 3 to 4 open ended questions. Questions can concern a case study.

  • Students attending classes and participating to group work
  • Course assessment consists in a written examination with 2 open ended questions and evaluation of the group work.


  • STUDENT PARTECIPATION

    Student participation with comments and questions on readings, cases studies and presentations will be evaluated till 1 extra point.

     It is possible to reject the score only once.
