Learning outcomes
Students will learn how to write an essay following the academic rules (footnotes, bibliography et caetera).
Course contents
During the term, students will be invited to present their subject of research and an essay of approx. 10 pages of their future dissertation. The essay will be discussed and corrected during the seminary. The laboratory is open to anyone, but will be linked to the course (Sposi) "Institutional history of Republican Italy" and will include some research exercices dealing with the governments of Republican Italy. It is advised to follow this laboratory when enroled in the course "Institutional history of Republican Italy".
Readings/Bibliography
The course does not have a bibliography, but students are encouraged to read the classical text of Umberto Eco, Come si fa una tesi di laurea, republished in 2017 (La Nave di Teseo).
Teaching methods
The course will be given in-person.
It is compulsory to bring his personal computer for the exercices of the laboratory.
Assessment methods
There will be no exams in this course.
