Learning outcomes

This course provides an overview of Italian labour law, including the law relating to organizing, collective bargaining, contract enforcement and relations between unions and their members. The purpose is to provide a basic overview of the legal system and legal doctrines that govern labour relations in Italy and in the EU Institutions and to bring some critical analysis to bear on these systems and practices.

The part II is dedicated to the analysis of forms of productive decentralization, with a focus on new forms of platform work.

Teaching methods

The Course is organized in 20 lesson. The material used in class (slides, readings, etc.) will be available in advance.

Assessment methods

The exam consists of an oral examination designed to assess the knowledge acquired by the student and his ability to critical reconstruction of the matter also through the use of an appropriate legal language.
