Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the workshop, the student will be able to organize and collect complex information coherently, apply critical analysis methods, preserve and enhance sources held in an historical archive. He/she will be able to identify a relevant research problem and use the information sources necessary to deal with it appropriately.

Course contents

In order to participate at workshops, 125 hours of attendance at the University Historical Archive is required. Workshop attendance covers the whole academic year, and it must be established by respecting the opening hours of the archive and the availability of places. Frequency schedule must be prearranged with the teacher who will assign a study programme.

Assessment methods

At the end of the workshop, the teacher verifies the diligence of the student's activities, the ability to organize and collect complex information, apply critical analysis methods, maintain and enhance historical memory, identify a research problem and use sources to deal with it appropriately.
