Learning outcomes
Students have to learn the general knowledge in aquaculture. A particular attention will be paid to the reproduction of the most important freshwater speices reared in Italy and Europe.
Course contents
Italian and european data.
Salmon and trout: broodstock management, reproduction, fish egg management, larval rearing, weaning and fattening.
Carp: broodstock management, reproduction, production of live feeds, fish egg management, larval rearing, weaning and fattening.
Anguilla anguilla aquaculture: larval rearing, weaning and fattening.
