Learning outcomes
The knowledge of the epistemological context of structural semiotics. A good comprehension of the generative implementation in the structural tradition.
Course contents
A first part of the course will be dedicated to F. De Saussure and his basic structural concepts. A second part will be consacreted to read some pages of Louis Hjelmslev. A third part will concern the introduction of the generative perspective in the semiotic theory.
