Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students will understand the concept of information and will know the methods of digital representation and of elaboration systems of data in the field of humanities computer science.

The course will regard the production of a digital edition of a literary text. In particular the content is:

Teaching methods
Lessons will have a theoretical and a pratical part. The laboratory activity will offer the competences necessaries to create and manage digital resources for the humanities.
Assessment methods
The exam include a theoretical and a practical part, that will be discussed during the oral test. The first will regard the contenthandled during the course. The second regardsthe creation of a digital resource: a marked up text in XML/TEI(to be concorded with the teacher).
