Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, Student knows organisms which can be used as models for the study of genetic expressions basic mechanisms. Students can understand molecular basis of main processes involved in structure and nucleic acids and protein function regulation. The Student can apply basic methodologies for biological macromolecules study and manipulation and he is able to develope methods that can find useful applications in biomedical and clical field.

Course contents

The course develops through seminars dealing with main applied biological molecular topics.

The course is based mainly on theoretical and some practical lectures

Assessment methods

The final examination consists of a oral test. Possible verifications during the course could be done after an agreement with the students.
