The first Digital Education Hub for higher education devoted to Advanced Digital Culture
The project aims to offer high-quality digital education for both university students and workers, regardless of their location, social, family or employment status, starting with the promotion of study and lifelong learning.
This, by developing fully online training courses called MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), which will be offered free of charge to anyone interested in learning.
The MOOCs will help university students in their preparation and study of the basic subjects they need to successfully attend courses or deepen their knowledge. Each MOOC will have a certificate of recognition based on a system of micro-credentials issued by the Italian universities of the Edvance network.
The MOOCs will also serve as practical resources available to anyone wishing to explore topics of specific interest.
Project objectives
The main objectives include:
- developing advanced digital skills (Data Literacy, AI Literacy, Digital Sustainability) using a transdisciplinary approach
- producing high-quality MOOCs supported by guidelines and artificial intelligence tools
- promoting e-learning and blended learning by training teachers and educational technologists
- building a digital learning ecosystem based on a hub that gathers the MOOCs offered by the universities involved
- developing and managing micro-credentials, supporting recognition of the skills acquired by universities and the world of work
