European University Basketball Championships 2025

Sixteen men's teams and twelve women's teams will take the field, bringing together over 400 athletes for a major international sporting event promoted by EUSA (European Universities Sports Association) and organized by the University of Bologna through CUSB (Centro Universitario Sportivo di Bologna).

Who can apply for the volunteer activity

To apply, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old by June 15, 2025
• Have Italian or EU citizenship, or a valid residence permit in Italy

Participation requires attending mandatory training sessions and complying with the code of conduct established by the Organizing Committee.

What benefits will you receive

You will receive a kit, uniform, certificate of participation, meals during shifts, a CUSB membership card with free access, insurance coverage, and for university students, an internationally recognized Open Badge.

What volunteer activities can you choose from

In the online application form, you can indicate your preference.

Delegation

• Team Attaché: point of reference for the teams from 17 participating countries.
• Referees Attaché: daily assistance to referees and technical delegates.
• Team EUSA Attaché: support for the European EUSA organizational team.

Logistics

• Accommodation: assistance in hotels, support for delegations.
• Catering: meal distribution and waste management.
• Transport: welcoming teams, managing transfers between accommodations, venues, and airports.

Venues

• Sports facilities: preparation of playing fields and necessary technical equipment.

• Services: water supply, laundry support, medical assistance.
• Venue setup: arranging informational and exhibition materials, assisting during athlete interviews, managing the Fun Zone.

Sports Program

• GTM (General Technical Meeting): organizational support during the technical meeting (July 6).
• Matches and training: schedule management, on-field support.
• Results, live streaming & broadcasts: results entry and technical assistance for live streaming.

Various

• Accreditation: data management, badge production, kit distribution.
• Volunteer management: volunteer coordination, scheduling, info point.
• Merchandising: sales support and official product setup.

Marketing and Communication

• Social Media & Content Creation: production of photo and video content, support for the editorial plan.
• Website: updating results, news, magazine.
• Press Office: press office support, press releases, media review.

Events and Ceremonies

• Official events: support for parties, gala dinner, cultural events.
• Opening and closing ceremonies: logistical organization and event agency support.
• Official protocols: preparation of medals, award parades.
