Historical-biographical profile: Tiziano Dalpozzo, born in Faenza (Ra) in 1950 and died there in 2017.
He graduated in Architecture in Florence in 1977 and worked as a freelancer, specialising in tourist facilities such as hotels, tourist villages, campsites and agritourisms, as well as residential construction.
His main interests range from urban planning to drawing and design, particularly ceramics.
His designs have been published in numerous magazines, newspapers and books and he has had numerous editorial collaborations including editing CA. Ceramica per l'architettura and Fashion Ceramic Tiles as well as his valuable contribution to the magazine D'A : design and crafts, applied and decorative arts and La ceramica Moderna & Antica. Some of his significant works are also held in museums and collections in the United States, Germany, Japan, Spain and Italy. He has curated numerous exhibitions and shows, including one for Ambrogio Pozzi in Faenza in 1987 and The Istoriate in 1993 in the Vatican Museums in Rome. He has given lectures and seminars on various topics both in Italy and abroad. He was a lecturer at ISIA (Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche) in Faenza.
