Short Bio

Valentina Alena Girelli holds a PhD in Geodetic and Topographic Sciences.

The main research topic concerns the application of advanced geomatic methodologies and techniques to support efficient procedures for the surveying, the modeling and the representation of structures, infrastructure and land, with emphasis on process quality assessment.

Engaged in several national and international research projects, she is author of 70 scientific publications. H-index (Scopus): 14.

Since 2023 she is Secretary of the Scientific Board of SIFET, the Italian Society of Photogrammetry and Topography.
