Full professor, coordinator of the "Rural buildings and agroforestry territory" LAB. Main research topics, in the agricultural and biosystems engineering field: design of structures for animal (focus on PLF) and plant production (lighting in protected crops), spatial planning in peri-urban and rural areas. Author of more than 300 papers. Responsible for several national and international research projects. GE of Special Issue Sustainability. SE of CIGR Journal, Associate editor of “Journal of agricultural Engineering". Chairman of the EurAgEng WG 'Rural Buildings and Landscape' and of the CIGR WG 'Rural landscape protection and valorization'. Unibo representative in the Uniscape network.
