Short Bio

Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Bologna since 2021, he carries out researches in the field of biochemistry of nutrition and nutrition applied to physical activity. The research interests are aimed in particular at the study of biochemical signaling pathways modulated by nutraceutical components. Further interest is represented by the study and development of nutritional supplements for well-being, prevention and sports performance.

He participates in national and international research projects, he has collaborated with some European Institutes. Author of scientific publications, he has received several prizes and awards including the Montana Award for Food Research (VI edition).
