Danilo Montesi

Full professor of data management and analytics at the University of Bologna since 2005. He has worked in the area of data and knowledge bases, information retrieval and social network analysis. His current interests are in textual and image analysis (for watermarking) and digital footprints for copyright protection, forensics and cybersecurity purposes. He has been involved in national (OPLON, “National Smart Cities” D.D. n. 391/Ric, July 5, 2012; IMPACT, “FIRB research projects” D.D. n. 490/Ric, August 3, 2010) and international (OPERANDUM, “European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme” grant agreement n. 776848), (INCA grant agreement n. 101061653) projects and he collaborates with several international research and academic institutions (University of East Anglia, UK; Uppsala University, Sweden).
