Roberto Scazzieri is Professor of Economic Analysis, University of Bologna and National Fellow, Lincei Academy, Rome. He is Senior Member, Gonville and Caius College, and Life Member, Clare Hall, Cambridge. He is Fellow, Accademia delle Scienze di Bologna; Fellow, Istituto Lombardo; Senior Research Associate, Centre for Financial History, Cambridge; and Member of Babbage Forum, Cambridge. He has been Professor Attaché at Interdisciplinary Research Centre ‘Beniamino Segre’, Lincei Academy. He has been founding Scientific Director of the Institute of Advanced Study, University of Bologna and founding Managing Editor of the journal Structural Change and Economic Dynamics. His primary research interests are the economic theory of production and structural economic dynamics. His recent publications in the field of political economy include Resources, Production and Structural Dynamics (Cambridge, 2015),The Political Economy of the Eurozone (Cambridge, 2017), and The Palgrave Handbook of Political Economy (London, 2018). He recently completed the research monograph The Constitution of Political Economy (Cambridge, 2023).
